Joseph Benincasa

Andrea has been a very valuable team member of the Joseph Benincasa State Farm Agency since 2014. As a graduate of Hofstra University’s Business Program where she earned the prestigious honor of Summa Cum Laude, Andrea began her career with us as an unlicensed team member and quickly earned her full Property and Casualty and Life/Accident and Health licenses. While working with our current customer base here in Farmingdale, Andrea displayed a talent in helping new customers acclimate to our agency. Andrea loves working with her fellow team members and believes that her strengths lie in quoting and binding new business for personal insurance and commercial insurance. She is also the proud mamma of fur baby, Buddy, and baby girl Sofia.

Dee graduated from Elmont Memorial High School where she studied beauty culture. She became a hairdresser in 1986 and has been making her customers look beautiful ever since. Dee joined our agency in 2021 as a part time service team member and was extremely successful in transferring her people skills to help service the needs of our customers. Dee is married to my brother, Michael, (yes she is family!) and together they have two beautiful boys, Michael and Alex. In her spare time, Dee loves traveling and going to the beach, which she describes as her happy place. Dee’s favorite part about working at The Joseph Benincasa State Farm Agency is helping people and being part of a team.

Jamie is a local Farmingdale resident and graduate of both Farmingdale High School and Farmingdale State College (she joined our team at The Joseph Benincasa State Farm Agency as a college student.) A born leader and hard worker, Jamie simultaneously held various managerial positions at Saf-T-Swim and was a buddy for a special needs child at the Halo Program. Jamie is licensed in full Property and Casualty and Life/Accident and Health. She is also our team lead in the Service Department as well as in Commercial. Jamie loves sunflowers, being in nature and photography. She has two pets named Dexter and Venom. Her favorite things about working at The Joseph Benincasa State Farm Agency are the team environment and helping our customers with all their insurance needs as she continues to learn and grow in the insurance world.

Jennifer joined the Joseph Benincasa State Farm Agency in 2020 and immediately added value to the team with her business knowledge and digital expertise. Jennifer is a graduate of Oakland University where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and communications. Prior to joining the agency, Jennifer worked for several various corporations, both large and small, helping them to build their digital footprint. As the agency's Marketing Associate, Jennifer is the backbone of our Marketing and Social Media departments. She creates content and manages our overall digital presence; in addition, she develops marketing campaigns and strategies and oversees our advertising and promotional budget. Jennifer is married to Eric and loves to travel, spend time with her family, watch football and experiment with new cuisines and restaurants. Her favorite part about working for the Joseph Benincasa State Farm Agency is working with honest, caring and hardworking people.

Joanne comes to us as a 30 year veteran in the beauty industry where she held various positions, including Marketing Director. She has transferred her skills and experience to manage The Joseph Benincasa State Farm Agency's Marketing and Social Media Departments. Some of Joanne's responsibilities include coordinating our corporate sponsored events, networking events and charitable contributions. Joanne sits on the board of directors at the Farmingdale Chamber of Commerce, is bi-lingual French/English, and is the agency's Notary Public. She has her full Property and Casualty and Life/Accident and Health licenses. Joanne's favorite thing about working at The Joseph Benincasa State Farm Agency is giving back to the wonderful community of Farmingdale and participating in programs that we support all across Long Island which help children flourish to reach their highest potential.

John is a childhood friend of Joe's from Franklin Square who joined The Joseph Benincasa State Farm Agency in July 2020. John has over 30 years of experience in the automobile and homeowner's insurance world, having worked at various companies during his career. John is a licensed Property and Casualty Account Associate and a very valuable resource to the team. He is there to help you and your family manage your risks and prepare for the unexpected. John loves the positive office environment, working with his caring teammates, and the customer service policies employed by the agency which is to always put the customer's insurance needs first.

Kathy is a graduate of Amityville High School and Nassau Community College. She has been a State Farm employee since 2022 and joined the Joseph Benincasa State Farm Agency in 2023 as a licensed Property and Casualty and Life/Accident and Health, bi-lingual Spanish team member. Kathy enjoys spending time with her daughter and family, going to the gym, shopping and traveling. Kathy’s favorite part about working at the Joseph Benincasa State Farm Agency is the teamwork and transparency, honesty and fairness of management.

Matt earned his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Stevenson University where he was a student athlete who played four years of men’s lacrosse. Matt comes to the Joseph Benincasa State Farm Agency with several years of experience in the financial industry, where he worked initially as a funding manager, providing loans for small businesses, and then as Director of Customer Retention, responsible for assisting existing customers with securing additional funding. Matt is a licensed team member in Property and Casualty and Life/Accident and Health. He enjoys sports, coaching, music, the beach, puppies, including his own labrador retriever, Oakley. When asked what his favorite thing is about working at The Joseph Benincasa State Farm Agency, his reply is, “having the opportunity to learn from my father.“ I must say that I am honored and thrilled to have Matt on my team.

In 2021 Paul was hired as our very first intern from the newly established internship program with the School of Business at Farmingdale State College. As a result of Paul’s work ethic, motivation and contributions to the agency, he was offered a permanent position which he happily accepted. Paul works in the service department helping our customers with all their insurance questions and needs. Paul graduated from Farmingdale State College with a bachelor's degree in Business Management and a minor in Legal Studies. He enjoys the beach, kayaking, spending quality time with family/friends as well as exploring new places, cultures and food. He has a German Shepard/Husky mix named Casey. Paul’s favorite part about working at The Joseph Benincasa State Farm Agency is working in a family-oriented business which is very involved in the Farmingdale community.
